I sense Cotto has some black blood in his family line. By looking at his facial features I can see it. Based on the knowledge I've received from my Puerto Rican friends that live in NY the people of PR are made up of three different ethnicities or races which are Taino Indian, Spaniard, and African (black).Comment

Yeah Yuri wasn't that impressive. Going into that fight I knew it might not be too exciting because I read Yuri likes to box and doesn't have much punching power. He held and ran way too much for him to win the fight, but like Emmanuel Steward was saying he was playing it smart and making it a ugly fight that made him look like he was winning and that's what happened.
Star of David do you like the HW Greenburg?Comment

Exactly, so where is all this race crap coming from.I sense Cotto has some black blood in his family line. By looking at his facial features I can see it. Because the topic creator forgot the very definition of Latino means you are likely mixed with Indian, European Spanish, Black African and god knows what else existed in spanish colonies at the time. He seems to define puerto ricans as their own race.Comment

Well in my experiences in NYC there has been little or no racial tension between blacks and PR's. When I heard this talk about racial riot in MSG before the fight I was like BS 1/4 of all the PR's are so dark you couldn't tell the difference between them if they didn't have on a PR flag T-shirt and many of them (including me) came in with a few black friends.
To be honest I was much more worried about fights and a riot prior to the Malignaggi fight.Comment

In puerto rico its less about race and more about class. In all honesty i have never heard this kind of racial talk from someone out of puerto rico. Especially if your from the island its about class, and not race, which is why so many dominican immigrants get hated on, not because they are black, but people just think they talk funny and basically do jobs nobody wants to do.Well in my experiences in NYC there has been little or no racial tension between blacks and PR's.
