Cotto beats Mayweather by decision, and DLH by late TKO.
I think Oscar would stop Cotto.

And realistically that's Cotto's best shot at Floyd. To try and somehow dictate the tempo of the fight using a jab.......because Castillo (who I think is just as inept if not moreso than Cotto is at infighting) couldn't do it. Sure I think he won the first fight against Floyd: I had that one 116-112 in favor of JLC. But the official scores reflected how Floyd impresses Judges with his skill......and by Cotto attempting to beat Floyd by roughing him up will only leave him on the canvas in my view.

JLC has a much more solid beard, and can get away with that type of fight. Cotto has a huge heart, but I don't think he would respond well to getting tagged clean like he would against Floyd. Mismatch in my view.

Oscar's failure to win the fight was due to his lack of a consistent jab.

The times he threw it, he landed it flush and dictated the pace of the fight. Oscar's jab is a reflection of his boxing skill as so would be Cotto's jab......and I don't think Cotto is as likely to throw consistent jabs as Oscar is.

Cotto uses the jab for a little while, but mainly as a tool to bully his guy and set up the inside attack. Oscar has shown throughout history that his jab is one of his best punches next to his left hook, and he can jab with the best of them.

I think Cotto's best shot would be to try and outbox Floyd by sticking the jab in his face and following up with good shots.

And I don't mean on the back foot because obviously Cotto would be the one coming forward in that fight.

          Floyd's a business man...

I feel Floyd's keepin' an eye out on who makes it to the top moneywise.

I have no doubt he would be fighting any of those guys if and when the money makes sense.

It sucks for his fans, but boxing is a business.

He's proven his abilities in getting to the top, now he can pick and choose the best fighter that will bring in the money. Likewise, for any of the up and comers.

Right now, that would be Oscar again. But, Oscar has called it quits from what I understand.

I can see why Klitschko would have so many people lining up to fight him. You tap that chin and you can win the fight.

I have no idea why anyone would want to beat Mayweather. At best, you get another loss on your record. At worst, you get completely embarassed...

All they proved is that you can get close to beating him, but close isn't good enough...
