Margarito would just be a pushover for Cotto...would definitely be a great fight, but Marg gets punished all night and Cotto wouldn't be tested. This isn't Cintron.

Hmmm, people here mention Margo's chin but not his ribcage. That's where Cotto will do most of his work, to Margarito's long torso. There is just too much to hit there. Margarito will get beat to the body. I envision Cotto by TKO in the 9th round.

Williams, if he actually boxed, could beat Cotto because of the long arms. Cotto wouldn't be able to get inside, but it would make for a boring fight. But Williams likes to **** and he gets hit too much so I think Cotto takes him.

The only two fighters I see that would pose a serious threat to Miguel, at 147, are Mosley and Clottey. I'm not counting Mayweather because his last fight was at 154. Cotto would be 50/50 against Clottey and 45/55 against Mosley, I think. Against PBF, Cotto is 5/95.

Margarito's non stop preasure would be to much for cotto the only time i can remember Cotto been preasure was by Torres and Margarito is a stronger and better fighter then Torres.

people's opinion SHOULD be divided on a margarito / cotto fight. cotto's established himself as a complete force @ 147, and margarito's BEEN established as a force for years now.

man, this joshua clottey mess ... man, if margarito would have JUST trained harder for that fight and taken him more serious-there wouldn't even be talks of clottey.

margarito is the ONLY man who IMO can knock off cotto from the top at WW.

Should be a great fight.

If Tony senses Cotto is hurt, Tony is a great finisher. Plus, his long arms could pose a problem for the body punching Cotto.

I still pick Cotto to win. But it will be war.
