Any fighter that is rarely in a dull fight will become popular. The example of Gatti. Gatti is walking proof that if your rarely in a dull fight, no matter how many loses you got, no matter how you lose, you'll always have fans that will follow you until the day you call it a career.

That is why people like Cotto but the fact is that 9 times out of 10 those people dont last and are exposed by boxers or more well rounded fighters when they move up in class. I think that could very well happened in his next fight if he takes on any of the top guys at WW

Miguel Cotto, 30-0 25 KO's, you will definately not be denied of an exciting, and entertaining, toe-to-toe boxing match. The man comes to throw down. Go Cotto! Future Undisputed, Undefeated Welter Weight Champion of the World!

yes, cotto always comes to fight, but like dlt says, he would be exposed by a top ww like a mayweather in very embarrising form and paul williams and mosley.

he is a great fighter with great power and he can throw great combinations also. cotto is a draw in the sport now and i don't see him going nowhere but up until he runs until mayweather, shane, and williams.

I agree that he could eventually get exposed, but not by Mosley and Williams.

They could both beat him, but they CERTAINLY wouldn't embarass him. Mayweather could but i still dont think he would embarrass cotto.

And Manny Pacquiao is going to get exposed by SOTO or MARQUEZ, whoevers next

Cotto be taking to many chances though. He could've boxed a boring fight yesterday, but even when he was hurt he would still fight. Judah was trying to get away from him even while Cotto was hurt at times. Talk all this **** you want about Cotto.. That ni99a gives you your money worth! Cotto Vs Mayweather or De La Hoya would sell alot!!
