    MALIGNAGGI's stock skyrockets?

Judah is percieved as a better boxer, but he couldnt outbox cotto.

Malignaggi was toying with Cotto at times. Cotto found a way to beat the kid eventually, but Malignaggi has great skills.

It just took this judah fight to put them into perspective for me.

I was gonna bet on NDOU for the upset... i dont think im gonna anymore.

No, because as much as I like Paulie, we all have to realize that Cotto was seriously drained that night and was not at full strength.

i am the first person to say that i don't like malignaggi, i think he's boring to watch, and i think he avoids any real toe to toe action. BUT I TOTALLY AGREE THAT HIS STOCK RISES AFTER ZAB GETTING BEAT BY COTTO. i agree 100% with that because it's true, plain and simple.

malignaggi not only finished the fight with busted face bones, he had a better fight against cotto. he won more rounds and made cotto have to adjust inside the ring in order to beat him (paulie).

the zab -cotto fight was very exciting and good, i'd say the malignaggi fight would have been just as exciting but knowing the malignaggi has next to no power, you know that malignaggi isnt going to knock out cotto or get him in serious trouble. where as with the zab fight, judah could've hurt cotto and could've had him down with a single shot, almost at anytime in the fight, but he didn't, so that is that. if malignaggi had power it would've been a much more exciting fight, but it was good.

just to reiterate i do not like malignaggi, but i have to admit the fact that his stock rises after zab getting beat by cotto.

it would be a good fight for zab and malignaggi to get it on. if maliganggi got a win over zab, even if it was a boring fight, it huge for him. they'd have to figure out weight issues. catch weight, jr.welter, welter????

      maybe????eh?

Cotto broke his hand in that fight.
Maligf@ggi was fighting a one handed fighter for 8 rounds.
        A weight drained Cotto.
If Maligf@ggi moved up to 147 like he says he will because he want's to face Cotto again, Miguel win own the hell out of Paulette.

I agree that he was weight drained. I do think it makes his performance look better though. Like I said in another thread, Cotto is 10-0 9 KOs in his title fights, and he is the only one to survive. That has to count for something. Plus his face was broken, and he fought on.
