Roy Jones was #1 at that time, so it couldn't have been the last time.

    It's Chavez/Whittaker, I'm sure of it.

WEll its rare that you get two p4p fighters that HIGH on the list, and in the same division.

JONES-HOPKINS was one that SHOULD have happened, but never did because of money and ****

Jones wasn't #1 at that point, and neither was Toney.

Shane wasnt that far gone from losing to Forrest twice so that definatly wasnt. Oscar/Shane 1 was pretty close but not really.

Its hard because most guys dont get "really" big until after the big fight. Like someone said Hopkins/Tito but most didnt give Hopkins his full respect before that fight so he wasnt ranked that high

Hearns/Leonard I was the only time it happened by KO Magazine end of year 'lb4lb' polls the year before

Chavez was #1 and Whitaker #3 in KO Magazine end of year lb4lb poll in the one before they fought, and Toney was #1 and Jones was #3 in Ring Magazine 'lb4lb' rankings before they fought
