Who Wins This Perfect Fight & How?

This is the battle of 2 tough SOB's who are a step away from being the Elite. This would be a flat out war that I would buy all day on PPV but nobody else in the world would by because there names arent big enough unless your a hard core fan.

Cotto vs Clottey. I think it would be a great fight but I just see Clottey having everything a little better then Cotto maybe except for power but Clottey has some good power also. I just see both of these guys exchanging combos but Clottey has a tight D and I dont even think a Middleweight can hurt him. I love when Clottey throws those flurries and I just think that Cotto will make them miss but get caught on the last punch of the flurry and the fight will be over. Clottey will jump on him and Cotto will never fully recover because of the pressure Clottey will aply.

I also compare this fight to the Cotto-N'Dou fight. I know Im in the minority but I actually think Cotto may have lose that fight and I think Clottey is just a bigger, better, stronger version of what that N'Dou fight was. Still, it would be awesome to see.

Thats why I still dont have Cotto rated in the top 5 even at WW. Everyone says he is top 3 now and should be in the top 10P4P but I dont even have him in the top 5 at WW. I think he is behind Floyd, Margarito, Mosley, Clottey, and for some reason I would still pick Cintron over him. Williams could be the elite but we wont know until after next month. Also, Im still way higher on Baldy then any of you. I still dont know if Cotto could beat that guy. Its going to be hard for me to pick somoene against Baldy who's going to stand right infront of him and trade with him while not having great speed or D. I think Baldy can take all of Cotto's shots unlike most guys and I think he could land some chopping punches on Cotto that would really hurt. If Cotto decides to take a fight off instead of fighting Margarito like he said then I hope he picks Baldy and thinks it will be easy because that kid is a monster who people dont care about just because Floyd skooled him. He still hasnt lost in years besides against Floyd and I would pick him over Cotto. Matter of fact, tell me how you think Cotto does against Clottey & Baldy even though I know you will all say that he kills Baldy. I dont see it

Are you serious? By stating that Cotto is ranked below all those other guys "Margarito, Mosley, PBF, Clottey and Cintron" your saying that you would have them as your favorite in beating Cotto.

The only ones I see being favored above Cotto at 147lbs are PBF and Mosley. What has Clottey done that puts him so high on your scale? He is a great talent but other than beat Corrales and beating Margarito (till he injured hand) what has he done that is greater than Cotto?

Baldomir would be another Urkal fight. He will have limited power but stay in the fight because he can take a punch extremely well.

Oh and since you have all those guys ahead of Cotto if he fights Baldomir, Margarito, Clottey, Cintron how about we put some points on it?

Clottey-Cotto would be amazing.

As tight as CLOTTEYs defense is, he can be hit to body.

Id pick Cotto, but i could so easily see Clottey stopping Cotto. Cotto has no chance in stopping Clottey though. He's to tough, has a great chin, and an amazingly tight defense

I woud take Clottey against him. Becuase just like Cotto he'll **** away at the body. That fight would be fire works. I think Clottey can take Cotto's best shots and fight on. And his defense is very tight. Cotto doesn't have great power he just wears you down. Clottey is just as strong and he won't fight going backward he'll be right in there with Cotto.

Clottey and Cotto are my fav's in the WW division right now since Floyd is retired. Clottey is a very tough opponent for anyone and could see him beating anyone in the division and Cotto is a warrior who always comes to fight and got the power to hurt anyone so I would have a hard time picking a winner between those two but I know one thing it would be one helluva fight and one I would really like to see.

Cotto,Clottey seems to tire towards the end,he beat a shot warrior in Corrales,Clottey would have a good 4 rounds,then Cotto would take over and dominate,i dont think Clottey is ready for Cotto,i really wanna see him in a rematch with Margarito,and NO WAY is Margarito,Williams,Clottey or Cintron ahead of Cotto in the rankings,CINTRON?! What has he done to be ahead of Cotto? Beat Mark Suarez,Cotto has defeated better fighters then all these four

I think Cotto deserves to be number 1 welterweight,Mosley has only had one fight at welterweight since dropping back down,and it was against Collazo,he aint really done nothing since,hes a great fighter but i dont think he deserves to be #1 at welerweight until he beats some top fighters again

Hell yeah, Ill bet you all day. I diss Margarito hard but Ive always said he is a tough SOB and I think he would flat out destroy Cotto. Cotto will look like Cotto's opponents. He will have his moments but Margarito will overwhelm him and start to punish him

a real fight is margarito. williams wouldn't know what the **** to do with cotto in there and mosley is too long in the tooth, he can't take this heat from cotto.

margarito, is the ONLY thing left in WW for cotto. everyone else is just a payday for my boy.
