    Miguel "Out Jab Zab" Cotto

Was anyone else totally surprised out how well Cotto was jabbing. It was stiff, quick and accurate and helped him get inside. It also lowered the amount of counter straight lefts and uppercuts he would've received coming in otherswise.

BTW in the HBO tale of the Tape it stated that Cotto's reach was 23 1/2" and Judah's was 22". Can anyone confirm this? I thought Judah had a 5" reach advantage?

I thought Cotto was suppose to be taller to, on the tape it said zab's taller... Someone on here said Cotto was 5'8 and zab was suppose to be like 5'7. I guess someone on here got it mixed up.

I was surprised, that was a lot faster than I expected it to be. He used it well, it had decent power behind it too.

No, I knew he had a great jab when he used it. Converted southpaws usually have very good jabs because its their stronger arm. See Oscar De La Hoya.
