if a fighter is seriously in bad shape and takes a knee then the ref should waive it off. there is no sense in letting him continue to get stomped, in zab's case it was to survive, but he was fit to continue, zab's hands were still faster than cotto's throughout the fight, just he didnt' throw them.

Why should he be disqualified?
It's a smart move, if a fighter decides to take the point deduction, and compose himself, then get back up to fight some more, I definitely respect that, and he did the right thing.

when Mayweather's uncle stepped into the ring after the low blow against Judah. Thats supposed to be an automatic DQ, but they said nothing.
Judah did the right thing. Taking a knee is legal.
