Cotto for me is a rugged, physical fighter... but not dirty (in my opnion)...

Casamayor is a dirty fighter (but i find him to be one smart mother****er....)

No he's not a dirty fighter. He has a very low percentage of body shots considering the amount of body work he puts in.

I said he was dirty but not based on this fight alone. I think he was way dirtier in the Urkal fight. But who gives a ****, Cotto with his style can not be a clean fighter. He wants to fight bad so he gets dirty at times. I don;t care. I love Cotto. He got deducted a point for the second low blow. The first one wasn't even that low, it was right on the belt.

Cotto is not really a dirty fighter - I define a dirty fighter as someone who intentionally gives rabbit punches, low blows, head butts, etc. Cotto is very aggressive in the ring, occasionally one or two of his numerous body punches land low but not intentionally.

Zab Judah, Sam Peter, and Sakio Bika are deliberately dirty fighters. When they start to lose a fight they intentionally resort to illegal stuff, as Judah did against Mayweather.

The commentary on Setanta was so biased it was unbelievable.
yet another case of di*kriding bull****

How can u fight against a pressure fighter for 12 rds if the guy nearly decapitates
ur testicles. that was an outrageous tactic implemented purposely by miguel cotto
and i will never watch the guy fight again unless i know hes been koed.

what a classless piece of ****

Judah would of thrown more punches if he hadnt been so badly hurt low.
no i dont think he would of won cause cotto maintained great pressure but
it wasnt a fair fight & cotto should be ashamed.

Judah aint done, he just wasnt able to move enough and of course he didnt
capitalise on cotto dropping his hands in the later rounds. yeah judah did
his usual but who can say he wouldnt of done better id hed not been hurt
low so early in the fight. im so dissappointed in both fighters, for different
reasons. as for cotto being too much for mayweather, hahahahahahahaha

                keep tellin urself that.
those shots were not straying bodyshots, did u see he didnt try to bring the
punches up, he let the shot dip low. check the curve of his fist, easy to tell.

he got hurt so he cheated, just like judah did against mayweather, except he still lost...

Dirty????? Not Really.. He is Rough and willing to commit the odd foul to win...

It borders on being dirty.. Much like head clashes,Forearm shots and Holding..

All are acceptable in small doses unless it becomes very obvious that the perpitrator is not trying to win.. But simply to hurt the other guy..

That being said Most fighters have resorted to the odd cheap shot from time to time..

this was meant to be cottos biggest test to date, a chance to show the
whole world what a great fighter he is, instead he cheated early and effected the
outcome of the fight. like i said, i think cotto would of won regardess but why do
something which he didnt need to do. plus there was more than 2 altho the main
                    two were definately intentional.

                    oh well, great fight anway

......Anyone who thinks Cotto is intentionaly dirty is a crybaby who is just upset because heartless Zab got the **** kicked out of him. Actually, Zab did show more heart than in the past in this one. Cotto appologized for those low blows and you could tell they weren't intentional. Did you see him bitching after he got head butted? Cotto is a come forward rugged fighter. That style is going to create some rough stuff that is totaly unintentional.
