Who the hell is managing Zab's career?

Before Cotto he needed to shake off the ring rust. He had 2 minutes in a ring in the last 2 years!! What did you expect? Dumb manager, looks like money was too big. I know they don't pay alot for fighters like Zab (and the majority of the boxing world really, which is purely wrong) to go fight nobodies. The same doesnt apply to Cotto and other more marketable fighters. Anyway dispite that he needed like a Kosta Tsyzu rematch and other veteran he could beat (he shouldnt get KTFO by Tsyzu again if he took his lesson) so he could be more in shape. Its very easy to put on pressure and beat a fighter who isnt throwing! I don't believe some of you say "cottos extreme pressure bla bla bla". Bull****..
Then we would have a different Zab. A first round Zab for 8 rounds... Cotto would have to throw like 24 nut punches to gain advantage then..

I'm sorry, one year it was. He was suspedend ironicaly after punching Mayweather's groin. At least he wasnt cynical about it. he was mad and thats what not too bright people do when they are mad. 2 minutes in one year inactivity plus coming from a NC and 2 losses.. he needed some warm up.

First of all, I am very close to the Zab Judah management, "Prizefight Boxing"
and I can tell you first hand that the chance to fight Cotto was something that Zab himself wanted. He put on a very gutsy performance even in a losing effort, and is far from done, and he showed tons of heart and a chin as well. Zab has balls no doubt - and you can ask Miguel because he checked them himself a couple of times! Cotto is a beast and he got rocked a few times tonight.

Miguel beat my friend tonight, but after a couple of more fights, I would like to see them face each other again.

That's not the point. The point is he wasnt ready. How can you be ready when you don't throw punches after round 3? Zab shouldnt have taken the fight. He is still in denial and that was is sad I saw the post fight interview and he still regards himself as a great fighter side to cotto. well, cotto as a person as lost my respect and as a sportsman even more for that cold calculated behavior (low blows, exact timming, refer to other post) but will be ahead of judah like mayweather is ahead of hoya (now i will get flamed). Actually, after a direct confrontation, only hardcore fans will still claim their fighter is ahead/better than the one he lost with. back to Zab, he should have had more warm up fights. He wasnt ripped like DLH and PBF in their historical fight with 6 pack abbs and fit... My first impression of him to him tonight was "wow zab is finn!" I'm off now. Haters, post away. convert some to your cause. leave us the boxing fans, we need those

Damn allucard I see you a big Zab fan, but no more excuses man, Zab already had teh biggest chance to be king and that was against mayweather, I agree his comeback fight should've been with 2 contenders, but in Zab eyes he saw a rookie holding a tittle that he knew he can steal easily and be back on top. So he took the fight, and Cotto to me is just fighting alot of boxer gearing towards mayweather, who better to fight to see if you can maybe have a shot at beating mayweather than Zab? That's my Cotto wanted Zab. I do agree with soundtraveler that Zab isn't done yet. I believe Zab's next fight should be with baldamir, beat the man who started Zabs down fall, you beat Baldamir and you erase the first mistake and move on from there and fight your way up. But let Cotto shine until hi next fight. I dont hate on B-Hop for beating my favarite fighter TITO, I congratulated and moved on.

managing is one thing and getting new trainer is another, and at this point i think getting a new trainer should be top priority for zab.

I'm not sure what it is. I dont know if he is really tight and on edge going into fights and spends himself or if its something in his training but rd 1-4 Zab is a different fight than the rd 9-12 Zab.
