Thats 10 guys right there. He's right in there with Diaz, Guzman, Darchinayan, Hatton, and so on. Id put him in the 11-15 range but if he wins his next fight against a top guy then I will probally put him at 10 or right on the door but I think those other 10 guys are solid. If Floyd is done then I dont know who would be 10
I was thinking the same because he hasnt had all those big name fights this is his first big fight but man did he make a statement to be in that same list

Well then who has Calzaghe fought to be ranked 10, he has fought no Zab Judah thats for sure so Cotto should at least be 10 imo.

This is by no mean disrespect to Joe and his skills, I like the guy to be honest with you but if your focusing on names and how dangerous the opponents are then I think Cotto has him beat.

        that makes perfect sense.

calzaghe beat a one-dimensional lacy by decision. cotto beat an elite fighter by TKO. yeah, i do agree with cotto being ranked at least 10.

I agree and I think Joe is overrated but I give him the advantage over Cotto simply because he's done it for longer.

Cotto is the most vicious, most brutal champion there's ever been.

geez after beating up a fighter with more ring rust than a sunken U-boat, what is his rank? he had to nut hit and still was hurt. i'd say right inbetween gatti and baldomir.

No way I have Jermain Taylor in the top 10. IMO and many others, he lost to Winky, lost to B-hop in atleast one of the 2 fights, to me the second fight he lost. He couldnt knock out 2 middle weights, one came from welter weight and I heard a rumor that his promoter his trying to get him a knockout by matching him with them smaller guys from middle and welter weight. Also Trinidad said his 50/50 on coming back, so I would love to see Tito's comeback against JT seing how TRinidad always wants to fight top fighters only, he doesnt have time for tune ups, which would be a smart choice. But Ill have Cotto from the 10-15 list seing how he still on the come up, to me he hasnt came yet, if he beats margarito, mosley, then he came up, and a mayweather fight would be on demand. I rather see Cotto keep working to get to maywether, he beat someone similar to mayweather, but that might mess up his head and make him over cofindent, he needs to bring 200% against mayweather, floyd even thought his boring to me, his still no joke, mayweather can pepper beat anybody. but the only fighters that can beat floyd are the cotto, margarito castillo types, all out presure during all 12 rounds.
