even if that was the case, that would seem like an ideal fight for mayweather. i mean baldomir? gatti? judah?..(ran over floyd for a few rounds), than immediately back to a past prime fighter in oscar. oscar still managed to walk through floyd's soft punches.

now with that text'd out....you can see why he would never fight cotto.

but if it is a easy fight for mayweather, why not fight em? floyd talked about fightin again briefly. this time the money's there and the reputation as pound 4 pound.

again, assclowns aside. this fight is just one of those that has to happen.

hands down, the fight of our century. be like duran vs leonard for our time.

yea maybe the second one where the clearly more talented fighter and better all round boxer makes the power punching, non-stop puncher look silly

Think about the number of rounds Mayweather stole against De La Hoya simply because De La Hoya could not sustain his attacks. Cotto would not have that problem and in turn would give Mayweather more of a run for his money than De La Hoya did.

well in durans defense, sugar had to run backwards to win. still, great tactic within the rules of 'boxing'..i guess. not takin anything away from sugar, he was a great fighter.

Well people aren't seeming to realize that Mayweather is looking for the biggest fights. Cotto did well but this fight won't push him to the level where he and Mayweather would draw big dollars. Even Floyd told Margarito to his face that once he gets more popular that they would eventually fight.
