Antwerp, Belgium: - EBU welterweight champ Jackson Osei Bonsu retained the title with a devastating one punch knockout in the 12th round over brave but outgunned Italian challenger Cristian De Martinis at the Lotto Arena. Osei Bonsu was well ahead on points going into the final round and when he took out De Martinis with a single punch at 0.38 seconds of the final round. The Italian was badly out of it and referee Ian John-Lewis dispensed with the count. De Martinis regained conciousness after a few minutes but left the ring on a stretcher but appeared to be relatively allright. [details]
