Ngoudjo Beats Bailey To Earn Title Shot

It wasn't easy, but Hermann Ngoudjo (16-1-0) earned a split-decision over Randall Bailey (35-6-0) at the Uniprix Stadium in Montreal to earn the right to face the winner of the upcoming clash between IBF junior welterweight champion Lovemore Ndou and challenger Paulie Malignaggi, which takes place on June 16. It was a good decision and it was a very good fight.

I had it even after 2, after 6, after 8, and after 10. Then Ngodjo did what he had to do in the last two rounds to win 114-112 on my card. Very entertaining fight and a close one at that. Bailey just ran out of gas.

It was an entertaining fight, and was about even after the first 10 rounds. After struggling to survive in the 9th and 10th, Ngoudjo came back magnificently and won the last two rounds.
