I tried explaining this earlier that I don't think Zab can get knocked out unless he's clocked by another monster like against Kostya. If he does get caught good though and gets discouraged he will start running his ass off which is almost as bad as getting KO'd.

Judah is a mental midget in the ring, that is a given. Anytime his plan A does not work then he falls apart. However, he is truely talented and has some of the most raw talent out there. He could give cotto big problems. Cotto didnt look so great against corley a fighter that zab handled with ease. Corley and Zab both are southpaws, so why would Cotto put himself on the line against one of the most gifted southpaws out there? Don't let Zabs low mental acuity hide the fact that he is still a dangerous fight, even for Cotto. If Cotto is not careful he might find himself getting his first L.

I think this is a genuine 50/50 fight that could go anyway, im not sure it can live up to the hype, so i made a bet on Boxing scene, i went for the outside shot and put v cash on the fight going the distance, think fight could get tactical at some stage.

I just want it to start so I can feel relieved one way or the other. If Judah doesn't do his thing, he deserves to have his career ended. If he does, it will be long overdue and a real shame that it had to happen against such a likeable guy like Cotto.
You almost HAVE to cheer for Cotto for taking the fight, never talking ****, and never slacking off in the ring. He doesn't have all the ability, but he is all business all the time and a good thing for our sport.
What good does it do for Judah to dazzle the world and stop Cotto only to turn around and lose to the next Carlos Baldomir the next time out?
Go Cotto
You know, if Judah does show up at his absolute best, im not gonna say Cotto cant win. Cotto is good enough Offensively and Judah at his best is bad enough under pressure u know what im saying?
But Judah is too fast, to strong, AND to big. Fact of the matter is, BOTH guys are undersized welterweights, and cotto is the smaller guy.
I guess size wont matter if hes gonna win this fight, cause hes a pressure guy and a body shot guy.
But again, if cotto shows that desire and heart that every champion should show, and WEATHERS taht early storm, he could definetly beat the best zab judah.
i just dont see it happening. Judahs to goodLast edited by Kball15; 06-09-2007, 08:59 AM.

I just don't see Cotto getting inside to work the body. He has had success against other fighters I know - but really, do you think Zab is going to just stand there and let Cotto come in and pound the body?
Did anyone see Cotto's last fight in Puerto Rico, in front of his fellow countrymen, in his house, --- he looked like crap and everyone knows it. If Cotto couldn't get pumped up for a fight in his own backyard, with his fans going nuts - don't think Madison Square Garden is going to do the trick either.
I like Cotto, he is a classy guy. But he is in over his head tonight, and he will lose this fight, and lose badly. Sure, he has a "punchers chance" but that is the ONLY chance he has, because he brings NOTHING to the ring that Zab hasn't seen before. Cotto is NOT the biggest puncher Zab has seen, he is one of the SLOWEST fighters Zab has seen, but Zab IS the biggest puncher Cotto has ever seen, and the FASTEST fighter he has ever seen, and yes - the MOST SKILLED fighter Cotto has ever seen too. Add to it the 5 INCH REACH ADVANTAGE and it all adds up to a loss for Cotto...
