Bailey got shafted, he should have gotten the win. Just goes to show you, all important fights (like this one, for a madatory title shot) should have judges from different countries...
Good fight on FNF

A Canadian judge voted for Bailey, while the American judge voted for Ngoujdo. How could it be biased if they each voted for the fighter from the opposite country?Last edited by Steelhammer86; 06-08-2007, 10:10 PM.Comment

The dumb ass judges scored the fight like this. Baily's face was beaten up, though Baily landed more punches per round. Basically the judges judged the fight appearance wise only and not who landed more punches per round. Bad judges. Only judge who got it right was the canadian.Comment

That is common, as they never want to appear biased towards their home country fighter. As I said, the judges should be from nuetral counties....Comment

that was a crazy fight, good action and pandamonium in the crowd. They were cheering, doing soccer chants, it was raining, the power went out, two knockdowns, that was one of the most dramatic FNF's ever.Comment

oh yeah i was watching the fight thinking to myself damnnnn i wish i was there
anyways, i wasnt paying much attention to the fight cause my f riends were over but i thought bailey was winning the fight. whenever i was watching ngoudjo would just jab and wouldnt double it up or anything.. whatever. didnt ngoudjo land a lot more punches on the compubox? i didnt see that... i dont think you could argue it was a ROBBERY if ngoudjo really did land that many more punchesComment

That's why I thought Ngodjo won the fight. I had it tied after 2,6,8, and 10. Basically, the winner of the last two rounds had the nod on my scorecard. That would be Ngoudjo.
BTW, I scored the first round 10-8 for Ngoudjo, too, so I had a 114-112 scorecard at the end. It wouldn't have mattered, tho, as a 10-9 round would've made the final tally 114-113. The reason I gave the round 10-8 is because while Bailey was winning the round up to that point, it wasn't a convincing round, it was a close round. Had Bailey been winning it convincingly then a 10-9 score would be appropriate.Comment
