Larry Merchant Agrees To New HBO Deal, 2-Years

It appears that Larry Merchant will be back in the HBO broadcast booth for at least two more years. Kevin Iole reports that Merchant agreed to a two-year contract extension with HBO, and a two-year mutual option to appear in the same role on half of all HBO World Championship Boxing and HBO Pay-Per-View telecasts. Good news indeed Larry is so hood with his post fight interviews I remember when he interviewed Floyd after the Delayhoa fight "You said it would be a massacre and it wasn't what happened Floyd?"

Great to see that he is going to be back for a while. HBO Championship Boxing isn't the same without him. Looking forward to more of his metaphors and funny one liners. Also his interviews are the best as well, epecially when him and the fighter are argueing.
