    Pacquiao-Barrera is Out, Marquez-Barrios Set

Despite the pronouncements of Top Rank promoter Bob Arum that he was working on a rematch between Manny Pacquiao and legendary Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera on September 15 in Las Vegas, it can’t happen according to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer.

Pacquiao's fault for not signing with Oscar. Who even cares about Pacquiao anymore? If he isn't fighting Guzman or Marquez or moving up in weight, then he isn't doing anything worthwhile.

First off. Manny-Barrera wouldn't mean much. Should Manny beat Barrera again, who cares? Barrera just lost to Marquez and if he was old when Manny fought him, imagine Barrera even now. Just forget it. Sure it's big money between the 2 but it doesn't really mean much to the fans I think. Meant more maybe Prior to Barrera-Marquez if Barrera had won. A Marquez rematch woulda been nice. Also wasn't Barrios going up to 135lbs after his 130lbs fiacso with Guzman?
