Very underrated fighter, he is not even talked about here, he avenged all 3 losses and fought some good fighters in his time.

He was a great fighter pal no doubt but he fought most of his fights in Italy and his record is slightly inflated.

      I would say Julio Cesar Chavez W 108 (87 ko's) | L 6 | D 2 | Total 116

Also he fought in 35 World Title matches!

      Awesome fighter!

He did too much work overseas, if he was around today he would be blasted as a Joe Calzaghe or Sven Ottke. I have only read of him, so I am still gonna go with Chavez but you could make a case for Pryor.

Only 26 Ko's in 115 fights? What did he do, peck his opponents to death?

his first loss came as a split decision against a danish fighter in denmark. His second an american in cali.( decision) and third (decision) ALL 3 were avenged. All this said Chavez takes it pryor second than loi.

you can say that, obviously you can also say JCC. Pryor is very beloved but he is untested compared to JCC and Loi.

Let's not forget that Loi beat a prime all time great in Carlos Ortiz, something Chavez and Pryor cannot claim.

Finally Jr Welter is a tough division to judge, many greats could have fought in it, but just skipped it instead (One can easily imagine Duran wrecking a few careers at 140, Mayweather had 3 ridicolous fights there, Whitaker skipped it, and so on)

I don't rate anybody on just a record. It's just a number to me it means nothing without knowing who the guy fought, how he won, how he lost. Not saying anything about this guy in particular but in general.

Agreed Chavez fought some great fighters along the way like Edwin Rosario, Roger Mayweather, Meldrick Taylor, Greg Haugen, Hector Camacho, Pernell Whitaker and Frankie Randall and later on he fought and lost to DLH and Kostya Tszyu.

                  Great career!
