Seems to me that hatton haters have learned from the tszyu fight and have decided to label castillo as washed-up BEFORE the fight to prevent themselves from looking like **** afterwards. What exactly makes castillo washed up? Having a tough time with an undefeated prospect does not indicate that a fighter is on the slide.

It's going to be very hard for Ricky Hatton to prove to the U.S boxing audience that he's not some overhyped guy from across the pond. Beating Castillo will definately get him more credit in my eyes but at the same time, we all know Castillo's condition. Couple that with Hatton's lackluster U.S outings thus far and it's a recipe for disaster.

Hatton needs to win convincingly and with as much style as possible. He's show marks of great skill (especially in his first 6 rounds against Juan Urango), but he's yet to couple that with his reputation for brawling. He needs to win in a lively fashion.

man this is bull****! Castillo had trouble makin weight, had to move up then had a tough fight against an up and comer undefeated guy who wanted that fight about as bad as any guy ive seen recently. Castillo has had a lot of fights and several wars true. But I have seen him have problems before getting motivated against guys like Ngoudjo. For this fight he will be highly motivated and I expect to see the guy that dropped jaws and his opponents over the last five years. Too bad for Ricky but thats boxing.

Wins a close fight... Well Hatton really lost and Castillo was robbed ..

Loses... Well , we all knew he was ****..

I can guarentee, no matter what happens in the fight, this will be the reaction to the result..
like a lot of fights as well as fighters, its not just THAT you win, its also HOW you win.

if hatton wins convincingly and castillo puts up a good fight, thats the best case scenario.

of course, hatton-haters are in no shortage on boxingscene. so you're right, no matter what, there are going to be some people who will never be satisfied with what hatton does.
