Then go to the betting forums and bet me 10k of your points. Why are you afraid to bet on the forums over measily points? Afraid if you're wrong then you look bad? Were not all right all the time. And this is one of those 50/50 fights that it can go either way. Scared?

Zab....... Well, I'm not even sure Zab could fight without 'daddy' there..

I'll GUARANTEE Zab has acted out more in all of his famous episodes because he was in that comfort zone with Yoel there.

      Gurantee it!

I remember that crutch... I was a little **** when my dad coached my hockey team growing up... I was a little ****ing menace.
I disagree there, I think Tito's dad pretty much killed his career in many aspects and so did SSM for a while, he seems to be doing better now. In Zab's case, if you listen closely to what his Dad tells him it makes sense, Zab is a pig headed bastard and doesn't follow instructions. You can tell Zab respects his Dad/trainer though, not sure if he would respect anyone else other than Tyson.

        I was slicing onions.

The direction I went was based on the emotional independance and maturity aspect of the father-son dynamic.

Tito carried himself like a man from a very young age..

I think Judah still acts like a teen in the presence of his father.

The mental and emotional breakdowns of Zab Judah in no way compare to the behavior of a Felix Trinidad or Shane Mosley.

Their fathers may have coddled them all the same - but they didn't lose fights because of tantrums or childishness - they lost because they got beat.

The didn't beat themselves the way Judah does.

        That was the point.

        It's a different dynamic.

Although, I see how you could percieve a different relation..

I think they are more like bother's than father and son. I can't say whether its a good thing or a bad one. I'd rather have my father in my corner than anyone else, though

Based on my findings; I believe Judah's concentrative and emotional weakness is having his 'daddy' Yoel in his corner, and his professional life.

Yoel is the man in Zab's life. You can see it when they're together.

If Zab had broken away from his father years ago I have no doubt his handlers and Judah himself would have kept him to a higher standard of maturity and professionalism.

His episodes, his breakdowns, his crackups - all would have been met with harsh, misunderstanding, non-tolerance and Judah would have taken off the diapers a long ****ing time ago.

The relationship is a beautiful one.. I admire the closeness and loyalty - but it has been the WORST thing for Zab Judah that his father has been the man giving him advice and protection all these years.

He needed someone to be more honest with him..

So he could be more honest with himself.
            Thanks Dr. Melfi

Zab's a grat fighter with I believe all the natual ability and talent in the world. He appears to ne to lack as been said before disipline and concentration. He fought Mayweather unbelievably well then appeared to run out of gas. Talent wise I would pick Zab over Cotto in this fight. Unfortunately because of his previous history in later rounds and suspect chin I see this as a pick-em fight where a win scenerio can be made for either fighter. This is what boxing should be all about and what will make this fight at least on paper exciting. I for one can't wait to see it

addison I agree with you 100 percent! I have long said the same thing to other people about Zab. He gets rattled in his corner when his father starts going off with his instructions. how can a fighter maintain focus when his corner man is foaming at the mouth between bells.
