you know what, Holyfield vs Vitali would be perfect. I am kinda getting tired of McCline, other than his win over china chin Grant and Goofy what has he accomplished other than losing to everybody. Holyfield wants to fight for a title and Vitali is getting a shot so if Holyfield beats him then he gets his title shot. It can be an eliminator.

Solid tune-up. He's been out of the ring for quite sometime and McCline's last fight was against a champion (despite what happened). He's a journeymen, but always a good yardstick. Tough but not too dangerous- though he still poses a threat. Maybe we'd get lucky and they'd stick this on Friday night fights if HBO isn't quite ready to jump back on Vitali's train.

good choice by vitali, mccline is not a world beater but he should get at least 8-10 good rounds out of him which i think is necessary since either maskaev or peter will be tough guys to knockout themselves

That would be a great choice by Vitali. TOS would be the waste of time and preparation, Vitali needs someone decent enough to get him back on track, especially with Peter (90% probability) being his next opponent.
