    Mayweather Sr. targets Roach

    *********.com

Former Oscar De La Hoya trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. expressed to ********* today an eagerness to have his fighter, two-time WBO champion Joan Guzman, take on the Freddie Roach-trained Manny Pacquiao. Earlier this year, Roach replaced Mayweather Sr. as the Golden Boy's trainer for his superfight against Floyd Jr. "I'm shocked that Roach would even consider taking this fight," stated Mayweather Sr., "He knows that I'm the best trainer out there and with all the talent that Guzman brings with him we will be an unstoppable duo. I won't believe it till I see the contract. We aren't looking for the easy way out. I am confident enough to put Guzman in the ring with any of the best, Pacquiao, Marquez, Valero....Roach on the other hand, I am not sure if he's willing to do the same. Let's give the public the fight they want to see. Nobody wants to see Pacquiao or Guzman take on fighters who are past their prime. We can turn this into one of the biggest super featherweight match ups to date. We can do another 24/7 series and show the world who the best duo really is. Guzman was powerful at 122lbs. and 126lbs., now working with me at 130lbs. he can only get better

I think Guzman could outbox Pacman,Sr's got beef with Roach

Once Guzman can stop backing out of fights and fights a top fighter than, we can all talk Pac vs. Guzman, until then he needs to STFU

Mayweather is still mad because of what happen with Oscar. But this fight would be pretty good.

So now Guzman is backing out off "fights". He backed out of one fight because of hand problems, but I don't see how he has been backing out of "fights".

This would be an awesome match-up! I don't really know who I would want to win but I would probably favor Guzman, although I think it was a ****ty decision going with Mayweather Sr.

Like he made Oscar greater. If anything I would rather go with Roger if I had to choose a trainer from the Mayweather clan.
