If they plan all of his fights around turning him into a Legend, I think they can do just that. An exciting knockout artist with a carefully groomed media image is a force to be reconned with. -
I'm sure most folks can see that this comment by Schafer (along with many others along the same lines) really has NOTHING to do with making Manny P a "legend". It's all part of their constant sniping at both Manny and Arum, because their underhanded trickery was shown up when the real details of their "contract" with Manny were revealed, particularly by Manny himself. And whilst on the subject, we read that Arum signed him to either a 4 YEAR contract or a 4 FIGHT contract. WHICH IS IT. Both are often printed.
And notice that Ronnie Nathaniensz, whose articles were once full of praise for Manny, are now more like PR documents for Golden Boy(which means "poor simple minded Manny, being taken advantage of by the big bad Arum, instead of cuddling with his natural protectors Golden Oscar") ......How Come Ronnie??

while UFC is taking over with the mainstream this is the reason boxing is slowly getting ridiculed because these guys are fueding...at the end of the day its about money let arum have pacquiao and just do business and show pacquiao to the USA and people will fall in love with his style.Comment

Are you a hater? Pac is ducking JMM? (I thought they fought to a draw?) Valero and Guzman? (Pac right now is still on the negotiating table right after he got KO'ed in the Philippine elections for Christ sake!) They'll announce who's next any time soon and it will be one of those three guys you mentioned.
Pac a ducker? He fought future HoF fighters in Morales (3X) and Barrera LOL!
