Nate Campbell: A New Lease on Life

By Ryan ******** - Nate Campbell sat on the edge of his bed, a 40. caliber Millenium edition handgun in his palm, and contemplated his life to that point. Thoughts of suicide, failure, lost promise and disappointment ran through his mind, and soon would a lead bullet in a matter of moments. [details]

For all that he's been through, Nate is still a very positive and upbeat guy. I'm constantly shocked by his ability to wade through all the drama and ups and downs of his career. He's something else.

Great to see a guy like Nate that's had so many professional and life problems rise above it and not give up. I saw his last fight against Quiles and it was almost hard to watch because Nate was beating him up badly, but Im glad Ricky wasn't seriously hurt. I hope Nate gets his shot at the title which he deserves.

I have known Nate personally for several years, and I feel that you more than anyone I have ever read an interview about Nate has touched on how he really is. I feel that you have portrayed him
for his true self.. In a very positive way..
I really appreciate your talent as a writer, and being able
to relay someones true self.. Thank you so much for sharing your gift of writing with all of us..

I heard that Kid Diamond was sparring with cruisers and lhw's and middleweights and holding his own to say the least, when he got hammered by Nate Campbell I really started to look at Nate differently from his earlier losses

                  Good article Asian...............

Nate has been one of my favorites for some time, only thing was his lack of focus, because everyone he has lost to, he was better than them, just not on that night, and that was mainly due to his focus.

Campbell 100% mentally and physically focused can beat anyone that steps into the ring with him. he has natural ability and flow which is his greatest asset, but also his downfall because he knows it and relies on that alone instead of focusing on his stamina and game plan.......

i'd love to see Nate finally get a world title, i think he deserves one, but he has to do it, he can't think anyone is going to give it to him, although he does have Don King working for him, so it very well could happen soon...............

I first saw Nate on the scene when he brutally KO'ed Daniel Alicea, that was a great highlight reel style knockout
