I don't even understand how a prospect like John Duddy has gotten so many ppv's. Is it because they want to stereotype his Irish fanbase as ****** drunks that will pay any money to watch an irish fighter Duddy fight?

Showbox PPV's are also aired on Showtime free for regular paying customers. HBO people are too big of a pack of pricks to do that.

I think all these piss-poor PPV cards are just experiments by promoters to see how much **** they can shove down the paying viewers before they call it quits. I'm about there. I have to admit that I bought the Mayweather/DeLahoya card, but in my own defense, I was hoping that if Oscar pressed the action, Mayweather would actually try and give his fans a show. Yes, I'm ******, and I'm about finished with PPV cards completely. If we ALL decided that we'd had enough and quit buying them, I'm thinking they'd stop trying to make all these ****** PPV fights. It'd be great if we could boycott an overhyped PPV card so well that they couldn't even manage to break even.

I heard the Duddy PPV was actually one of the best this year. Most of the people that ordered it seemed pleased with the result.

Worst one I can remember was Barrett vs. Rahman. I think Mayorga was on the undercard and it only pulled in 30,000 buys.

Anyone who bought that duddy-bonsante PPV should give the Samaritians a call.
