So your saying more Americans know who Hatton is compared to how Many Brit's know who Floyd is? I seriously doubt that. Floyd just fought the biggest name in boxing.

These guys are just talking out their ass. There is no way in hell Hatton is known more than Floyd overall.

Floyd don't need Hatton nobody will look back and say Floyd wouldn't come out of retirement to fight Hatton they will say Hatton was ringside when Floyd fought Gatti and didn't want to fight Floyd after that fight. I wonder why.
Why you getting yourself all flustered for? I never argued about who was more well known, and i dont care. PBF is not well known to the average person in England. That is true. And im not having a go at PBF. I just gave reasons why it would be good for him to box Hatton. As i have said a lot of American boxers that i admire did box English dudes in England and i enjoyed the fights. PBF should box Hatton in England or America. He is the champ...he calls the shots.

Fans know who he is, but not the average Joe.

I already agreed that fight should happen it would be a interesting fight BUT you guys on here are saying Floyd needs this fight when he don't need it as much as you think. Floyd tried to get a fight with Hatton and he turned it down what makes you think he is serious now. The money has to be right for Floyd and Hatton has to make a big impression in his upcoming bout or he can forget about this fight.

I'm not changing the subject. What don't you understand that this fight should of happened already but didn't because YOUR BOY wasn't ready. He was ready for Kostya and you guys couldn't stop giving him credit for but he was not ready for Floyd. You should be mad at Hatton for this fight not happening.

No, i dont think i have said PBF needs the fight, that his life depends upon it. When PBF retires, his record will show that he didnt box a top european kid. Whether that is bad, i dont know? I think it would do him good if he does have someone like Hatton on it. Ali thought it was worth his valuable time to come to beat someone like Cooper, and saw the benefits of it. Why should PBF feel any different. He thinks he is the ATG. He should follow what the ATGs did. It is traditional. Brits have beaten the yanks and vice versa.
Arrange the fight and the money will sort itself out. He will get paid what he is worth. He wont be short changed.
The title of this thread is "is pbf scared to fight Hatton?"
I am not saying he is. But the thing is PBF is retired and Hatton isnt, so if in the future the fight dont happen, PBF being retired might have a lot to do with it not happening.

I guess you just don't get it. Hatton is the reason the fight didn't happen and it's obvious Floyd is not going to chase a fight down with Hatton. Let Hatton impress the American fans with a dominating performance and get the publics interest and i'm sure a fight will happen until then i'm done talking about Hatton bringing up Floyd's name or saying he wants a fight because I think he is full of ****.

No, i know what youre getting at. PBF wont chase Hatton now. Hatton will need to impress and hopefully the public demand will be such that PBF would come out of retirement for it. Am i right?
