If Shannon Briggs had came in at a lower weight?

Briggs was like 225 for the Lewis fight and he put up a good effort in the early rounds. He was much quicker and more agressive, but still had the stamina issues. That Briggs does better atleast, I dont know about winning.

honestly i cant believe he even trains more than twice a week after what i saw tonight, that was absurd

i mean seriously, doesent he spar? if he did he would realize he couldnt even fight 5 good rounds.... im at a loss for words

Before the fight I stated that Briggs is not able to throw more than 45 punches a fight.

I don't care about Shannon Briggs. He talks all tough about knocking Ibragimov's head off and then puts in a pathetic performance.

If he knew he didn't have the stamina to go 12 he should have at least blitzed Ibragimov early and tried for a KO. Briggs didn't do anything.

I was thinking the same thing. He obviously jacked on roids too.

If Briggs had come in at a good weight, around 230/235, I still think he would have been fast enough and powerful enough to do some damage to Sultan.
But dont get me wrong, Briggs sucks.
Sultan sucks too, but this basiclly goes to show that the whole division sucks, with the exception of Wlad and Peter, who are good.

this excuse has to be made, Briggs has VERY BAD asthma and has recently had pneumonia of the lower lung. Any one sane will understand that he cant make 235lbs and his stamina is **** as a result.
