he beat roy jones twice, what other fighter can say that? if roy comes back and wins a title, will tarver get any respect for those fights? he was the first person to KO RJJ. you might hate the guy's attitude but he can claim things that no one else can. i think he'd beat Lacy also. you can obviously tell he was drained/over-trained for the hopkins fight, he looked dead on his feet. i think he can bounce back

My boy lacy would proberly ko tarver if they were to fight but why would lacy choose to fight and akward southpaw when in his last two fights against southpaws he had trouble. Saying this though if hopkins can knock tarver down if lacy connects then it may be good night tothe magic man. Also lacy mental state may not be thereso it would be hard to choose.

Tarver has been beaten on numerous occasions from fighters of less quality than Dawson. Tarver is a decent fighter but his attitude that he's one of the best Light Heavyweights ever is laughable!! It'll take a lot more than beating a shot Roy Jones, then getting ***** slapped by a middleweight to lose your title, even when that middleweight is the great Benard Hopkins.
