'What's the big fuss about Mikkel Kessler, anyway? Actually, there isn't one. Nobody in American gives a **** about him. Nobody in Britain gives a **** about him. Nobody outside of Denmark gives a **** about him!

'He's never fought anybody worth mentioning other than maybe Markus Beyer, who was shot to bits and no good to begin with! I've been in with Sheika, Woodhall, Brewer, Mitchell, Lacy, even Chris Eubank. There's zero comparison.

'Mikkel only throws two punches and uses his feet for defense. That's why I'm more than willing to go to Denmark and smash him up - because that's exactly what I'll do!

'Unless your a squat, strong fighter or have good defense, I'll blow you out of the water. I'll only need two or three rounds with Mikkel.

'I remember watching him the last time I fought in Denmark, he was on the undercard and I remember I thought he looked good and could go far. But he's just not in my league, can't punch for **** and can be easily out worked on the inside.'

I never gave Kessler a chance, but I give him respect on my other posts because he has a denmark fan base on this forum and don't want to disrespect their fighter. Because he's not a terrible fighter, I just think that his jab routine is kind of one dimensional.

This is exactly what i was thinking. When Joe was saying he didnt want Kessler. People were crying saying Joe was scared of him because Kessler was so bad ass dangerous. But now Joe has actually accepted the fight, and there is a chance will beat Kessler, they are going back on their word and saying Kessler is rubbish already, and expect Joe to have an easy nights work. This way Joe wont get too much credit. History repeating itself.
