Taylor is a media controlled and generated champion (HBO). You could see the hand writting was on the wall when he fought Hopkins. All the HBO build-up of Taylor and when examining the fight later how every close round was skewed for Taylor. Interesting how in the rematch you heard how while Hopkins did well you have to decisively beat the champion to win the title, that measurement was absent when Hopkins had the title. Hopkins big problem was he controlled himself. Fans got what the deserved , another arrogant media generated champion who will go on to pad his record and make big money while the real fighters make less. Taylor won't fight a real threat until there's big big money which he doesn't deserve. He should be made to fight Pavlik or be stripped of his HBO belt and go back to the jr middleweight or welterweight division where he'll be competitive picking on the little guys
