I like witter and think he has the style to beat hatton,but he needs to stop going on about ahatton and blaze his own trail to glory. He neeeds to fight ppl within the top 15 now to get recognition.

Witter is a good fighter, but his style is made for Hatton!!

Think about it, Witters jab is weak, he's weak on the inside. Yeah he can punch but that only when the other fighter gives him chance too. Hatton would bully him all night!!

Switch hitters are a nightmare to fight but Witter only switches when moving forward and cutting the ring off, Hatton wont let him move forward and its unlikely he'll have to cut the ring off against Hatton!!

The only chance Witter would have is to unload combo's on Hatton and hope for the best, but from Witters past form i think he'd be too scared too.

I'm not saying its a no win fight for Witter but I expect Hatton to give Witter a good beating, Witter could beat some good fighters but styles wise he'd do better avoiding Hatton.

quite the contrary i think hattons made for witter, witter has good reflexes and a good defence.He is an excellent counterpuncher. Hatton has absolutley no defence and cuts up easily...magee counterpunched hatton brilliantly in the first half of their fight. Witter is faster and stronger than magee and also has a better defense.
I say witter catches hatton on the way in with his bombs,then quickly moves out of the way. He keeps doing this until he ko's hatton. As witter showed against battaglia,if you come towards him with a weak defence witter will knock you out.

Witters best defence was against Jab Judah, RUN LIKE HELL!! Witter defence is poor and its been made to look poor by very bad fighters. Jurgen Haeck(Novice) made Witter look silly when he attacked, maybe Witter wasnt expecting him to come forward but even so Witter didnt know what to do! Haeck didnt just hit Witter, he Hurt him!! he was shown up at the M.E.N. in front of 15000 plus Hatton fans. the was obvious during the post fight inteview. he was so bad they put him in with Fred Kinuthia(8-2-0) for the next fight, who is now a 8-9-0 fighter!

You mention Salvatore Battaglia but who is he anyway?? Didnt he get stopped by Fabrice Colombel a 8-5-1 novice, doesnt that take the shine off the Witter win!?!

To say Witter is stronger than Magee is a JOKE!! Magee is one hard, strong man!! I'd have bet a lot of money that pre injury Magee would have beaten Witter!

I say Hatton gives Witter a brutal beat down, His work rate, accuracy, strength and overall class will make the Hatton vs Witter debate look like the most over hyped mismatch in British boxing history!

Witter is a good, talented fight, i know this from watching him and not by the bums he's beaten, so i'd give him a punchers chance but Hatton's chins solid and he's taken shots from harder punchers than Witter before. Because Witter has mixed with more bums than a gay ****star i dont think he could cope with the step up in class.

Just because Witter`s opponents have been poor doesn`t mean he`s a bum. Zab Judah beat him but Witter put in a good performance and recall that Witter had only 17 fights going in with Judah. Since this time Witter has 14 consectutive KO wins and no one has taken him past the 5th round. True, the level of opponent has been poor but he is the EU champion and should be due a title shot, lesser fighters have had shots before him.
As for Hatton. I think Hatton will break him down in 10 rds but i think Witter would make it a hard nights work for the hitman.
