And is there any wonder why a guy who has followed boxing the last 40 years, like myself, would now rather purchase a UFC PPV than a boxing card?

I dunno what the **** are you crying about? If the guy wants to fight as often as possible before he gets an opportunity at unifying then good for him, its not like all the other titleholders are so eager to fight him. So stop ****ing crying.

I think Dumb Rafael got the brothers mixed up like Bryan Kinney always does and meant Vitali is fighting Rahman as a tuneup before he faces the winner of Maskaev and Peter. This makes much more sense.

Well why would Wlad schedule this fight and he is still over a month away from a the biggest fight of his career in terms of what the fight means to him personally. Its his huge chance to prove something was wrong. He isn't looking past Brewster at all. And he wouldn't be looking at Rahman if he was, he'd be looking for another title.

Good point, a fight that soon might not really interfere with any unification match...I'm sure Chagaev will want at least one voluntary defense before losing his WBA title to Wlad anyway. It depends whether it's early fall (late Sep or Oct) or late fall (Dec).

I've been hoping Wlad stays busy...better to have this fight with Rahman in say October, then a unification match three months later, than Wlad having no fight at all for six months. Rahman would be another good name on Wlad's resume.

Anyways, its garbage, I just did some research and no one says nothing of this sort.

And yes, you are right, Wlad would be looking for trouble if he is overlooking your boy.

That's true, but I think he's intelligent enough to not underestimate Brewster, especially after what happened in their last fight.
