because that's movie.

if fighters really fought like that, they wouldn't be able to do it for 12 rounds (or 15 in the case of the video), fighters would run out of gas very easily, no fighter has that much energy during a fight.

btw, you claim boxing is only fighters throwing lazy jabs? I suppose that's why both Ali and Frazier were in the hospital after their first fight? becuase all they threw was lazy jabs? give me a break!

you could die taking so man shots.... i wonder... why isn't the ref stopping the fights with rocky..... he can't see out of any eye... he goes down like 5 times... and we wins in the last round....lol

I wish it were that exciting. But in all of those fights would have been stopped by the 5 or 6 round for sure.

If you want boxing to be like a Rocky movie then you shouldn't even watch, because all of the Rocky movies are so far from what really happens in a boxing match its practically night and day. Frankly, if Stallone is such a boxing fan then he shouldn't have made the Rocky movies so unrealistic.

I don't know what to say; boxing can sometimes be extremely exciting i.e. Pavlik-Miranda and other times very dull i.e. De La Hoya-Mayweather, regardless boxing will never be a 'Rocky movie' and I'm very glad its not.....

I reckon Rocky and Apollo would die if they went at it like in the film.

I have a complaint with Rocky anyway, which governing body is letting him box!?! He's blind in one eye, has terrible brain damage which means he hits the ground everytime a car goes past (rocky 5) and he's really old and they put him in with the current world champ in Rocky 6. Someone isn't looking out for himself very much... not to mention the fact he slurs and repeats himself alot - a definate case for pugilistic alzheimers disease.

I ain't no doctor... but Rocky... give up the ghost pal. To much! To much!
