you are wayyy off, you havn't seen the best of Vanes yet.

Just his power and speed is enough to KO Chavez Jr in 5 Rounds or less.

Ive seen atleast four fights of Vanes, and he was doing the same stuff, dont get me wrong, hes a good prospect, but makes so many mistakes, compare Vanes to Andy Lee and you will know what i mean,Chavez Jr has had better competition and hes still knocking guys out,he has the power to KO Vanes in 2 rounds or less,Vanes was floored in his last fight, that shows u he makes mistakes

I know ur on this site to promote him and everything, but u cant overhype him, take Berto,im a HUGE Berto fan,but he also makes a few bad mistakes, dont move his head etc. and i can admit it and say it might hurt him in the future

U think a prospect like Vanes can knock out a challanger like Chavez-Jr in 5 rounds or less?

i know Vanes makes mistakes... but i also KNOW Chavez is wayyy too soft for him and he would litteraly give Chaves a beating in the ring. Simple as that.

The last fight he got caught and it was a flash knock-down on his ass, he got up and put his opponent on the floor twice in the same round to end the fight.

go and look at Chavez Jr's first 13 fights, its clear his opposition to that point was far worse than what Vanes has faced.

Chavez Jr. - 10 of first 13 guys came against guys with a non winning record.

Vanes - has fought 10 out of 13 guys that have a winning record.

so ya, to say Chavez has fought better opposition doesn't stand.

Few comments on JCCJ: I just looked at boxrec.com and noticed that he already has 32 professional fights under his belt since his debut in September 2003! Furthermore, he's got three scheduled fights on boxrec!

I've always been a big proponent of fighters staying busy and fighting frequently but this is freakin ridiculous! Kid's on a freakin tear!

I guess my question is, is he going too fast or is this a good way to develop his talent ?...

              hype???? Where is the hype?
He is going along gradually with his career.
I haven't heard the media say he is the next greatest ever.

Vanes is also an Amatuer champion trained since he was a kid and an olympian dont underestimate him...plus he is tall like 6 feet just like chavez jr so this aint an easy fight for chavez jr.

vanes right now would probally just out box chavez jr and keep him away with his jab.

but chavez jr can land that equalizer left hook to the body then head thats his trademark.

he will go for the kill like his father.

chavez jr. won't be ready for that fight until DLH is like 50 years old. i've said it before and i'll say it again, chavez jr. isnt going to fight a real tough and significant fight until he is like 80-0. they are stepping him up, but he is extremely protected.

i was at his fight with the dude he had a draw with and he lost that fight clearly, and what was worse than that was their rematch where Jr. was completely out boxed out worked and looked like **** and he still was given the win, at the very best it should've been another draw, but since he's going to be the big market money machine in the future they can't afford Jr. losing.

a fight with DLH isnt ever going to happen, Jr. won't be ready enough before DLH hangs up the gloves.
