Obviously the haters are trying to find anything these days. You got to see the past and present to understand what happened here. Past: Manny was all up for the rematch, didn't give a **** who Marquez was or is. Offer was made and Marquez refused demanding more money than he was ever worth at the time. Now why do this? It could have been made. Everything was set and ready for that rematch, but oh no, Marquez had to run and hide by outpricing himself. Good thing for Manny's attitude, who gives a **** about Marquez if he's gonna be a *****, and go for the next big dog which was Morales. The rest is history. Now Present. GBP and Top Rank are in turmoil with the lawsuits and who owns Manny type deal. Manny just went through a rough political election for mayor which he lost in the process. That's a lot of mental strain right there when the people you love seem to turn against you even though they saw it as a better to let him continue focusing hard on boxing rather than get mixed up in politics. He may have saw this as a stab in the back instead. Then what happens? Marquez now wants Manny. Perfect timing? Manny stated he needed 3 months minimal to get back in shape after the whole election campaign and then he'll need some months to prepare for opponent. Marquez is doing this with Manny at a weak stage and it's the only chance he'd have at beating Manny. Out of all Manny's possible opponents at 130lbs, I give Marquez the least chance at beating Manny as crazy as you guys might think.

if marquez price himself out (again) and faces another fighter and eventually lose, he'll be boxing's biggest laughingstock.
marquez cannot be any bigger in fighting anyone except pacquiao. its about time he stop listening to those around him and stand up for himself.Comment

fllaming she-pac is now ducking marquez with excuse after excuse.....everyone blamed margarito for wanting to fight cotto and skip his mandatory...now pac is the mandatory for marquez and these nutthuggers are making excuse after excuse....these are the same nutthuggers who have been calling out margarito....flaming she-pac doesn't even have a world belt....maybe he will eventually fight marquez once flaming she-pac finds a purse to match the belt..Comment
