He beat a faded Bazooka Limon and a faded Rocky Lockridge early on. Then he had some nice wins over Chad Broussard, Terron Millett, Felix Flores, Reggie Green, Khalid Rahilou, Ben Tackie and Vince Phillips. Mitchell was a good, solid fighter. Not HOF material but he grades high for longevity.Comment

I agree. The thread maker must have just watched Mitchell's last couple of fights after Tszyu had basically beat the life out of him. Before that Mitchell was a very good fighter who wouldve gave nearly anyone problems. He had a nice solid career but the Tszyu thing ruined him.He beat a faded Bazooka Limon and a faded Rocky Lockridge early on. He had that 1st fight with Tszyu that he loss and spent the rest of his career chasing the rematch. Thats when Tszyu either wouldnt fight him or when he decided to fight, he got hurt like 3 times in a row so the rematch took place a long time after it shouldve. Still, alot of people picked Mitchell to win the rematch because he fought so well in his 1st fight with him, Tszyu had been so inactive, and Mitchell was easily beating alot of solid fighters. Mitchell just knew he would beat Tszyu. You could tell that he never had any doubt that he would win that fight. To me it was actually sad because you could see it on Mitchells face not even a minute into the fight that Tszyu was a completely different monster then he thought he would be. Tszyu just beat the dog **** out of him and that was basically the end of Mitchell's career. No way he could come back from that, mentally or physically. You spend much of your career chasing this fight and when you get it, you get dominated. It ruined himComment

It's the night Mitchell called it a day. He's done. I never liked him, he talked a lot of **** and never backed it up. After his second Tszyu outing he should have fought a no body then retired, but he thought for some reason he could be beat Mayweather & Williams. Unless he needed the cash, I would have retired, he looked like a bum against Williams.Comment
