Why does Larry Holmes take so much credit for... .. .

beating Ali when Ali was old and shot, but then will make excuses about the Time Tyson beat him. Saying he was old and **** like that. He was the same age when he lost to Tyson as Ali was when he lost to him. I saw him on espn talking about it a while back.

What do you guys think, Is Larry a Hypocrite???

I havent really heard Holmes talk much about the Ali fight so I dont know for sure but I thought he didnt take much credit for that fight. I thought he always felt bad about beating Ali and didnt take any pleasure in it

ive heard him complain and make excuses about his loss to Tyson,and to be honest he is just bitter about it..
ive not heard him ever talk about the Ali fight

Larry Holmes is Larry Holmes, dont you have these type of people in your neighboorhood, you know the ones that say that current generation is **** and in their times everything was better? Let the old guy run his restaurants and have a blab about his greatness once in a while. He WAS a great fighter after all.

i have never heard Holmes brag about the Ali fight. In fact, he was so distraught that he went into the locker room post fight to apologize to Ali. Holmes has always been realistic about that fight to my knowledge. He loves Ali.
