John Duddy Returns on July 14 in Ireland

As reported by the Irish Times, unbeaten middleweight John Duddy will make his pro-boxing debut in Ireland on July 14 at the National Stadium in Dublin. The opponent has not been confirmed, but Bernard Dunne's promoter Brian Peters, who is helping Duddy's promoter Irish Ropes find an opponent, has two names in mind. [details]

I hope he doesnt move up in talent too much. Hes exciting, but if he faces top guys, hes gonna get beaten badly...
BUT put on a good show in the process

Yeah your right he is very exciting to watch, but against top talent I could see him getting beat. Hopefully he has good success in Ireland and Europe, but I hope it isn't too much so that he doesn't come back to the US. He has a great following in the US, so I expect him to be back probably for a fight that he steps up big time in competition.
