    Im Rooting For Zab Because......

I like Cotto and I think he can be a beast. Alot of people think he is exciting and makes good fights but I dont agree. I think he's exciting but in a boring way, if that makes sense. He's like Lebron. He has great talent but he doesnt excite you like watching a Kobe, Wade, AI, Arenas, and so on. Also, Cotto is ready to take on top guys but he's still not going to go crazy with making a ton of good matches in a row.

On the flip side Zab is one of the most exciting guys in boxing when he brings it. Everyone knows he has all world talent but mentally isnt there. There is no reason to think that will ever change but it might. If Zab wins and looks specatcular then I just think its better for boxing in an excitment type way. Zab is also at the point of his career where he wants money so he will only take big fights. If Cotto wins then he probally wont ever fight Clottey or Mosley and a fight against the Margarito-Williams winner is exciting but not as exciting as Zab. Imagine a Zab-Williams fight, Zab-Margarito, Zab-Clottey, Zab-Mosley, Zab-Cintron. Those are the fights we would get if Zab wins and those would all be super excitng fights.

I really hope Zab can put it all together in this fight because a loss here will end all his credibility no matter what he does for the rest of his career

I want Cotto to win this one being PR and all, but it's not an easy fight. The only thing is, if Zab won, that doesn't mean, HE'S BACK. Zab puts on 1 great performance, then goes on to **** on himself. Him beating Cotto won't mean much because his performance after would prolly be lackluster if history continues to repeat him. Cotto is the rising star and could go on to bigger and better fights. I want Cotto to win this.

Thats true but Zab does usually take a fight that he thinks will be crappy aftewards so maybe he just has letdowns. Maybe if he won this fight and then fought one of those other top guys I named then he would put together a couple of good performances.

I like Zab's chance in this fight because I just think Zab will catch Cotto like Chop did with a blind lefty punch.

I dunno. I think, if theres is a punch that hurts Cotto, it'll be an uppercut. Zab has some wicked fast uppercuts at close range that he slips in from odd angles. I think at 147lbs, Cotto has a better chin also. He walked through Quintana who was no slouch himself. The Corley fight, Cotto got caught behind the ear back of head messing up equilibrium which is common for anyone that gets hit back there. I never held that much against him but the Torres fight was different. He got rocked a lot by straight punches right through his guard. We'll see what Zab can do but I think all Cotto has to do is land 1 clean shot and Zab will be on ***** street for the rest of the night.

Zab is good as long as things are going his way. Once he faces diversity/effective pressure he tends to break down. I think Cotto will start to get to him about round 4th or 5th round and then it will be down hill fast.
