No idea what to make of this guy....

"We're going to do what we do best, Brooklyn style. We come back. We don't act, we don't shake, scramble, or sc****. We just take. That's what we do. We're from the baddest borough in the world. Brownsville, that's what we do. It's what we've always done, and we're never going to stop doing it. I'm not saying anything against Cotto, but we've got to do what we've got to do. It's what we do. We came here for whatever he's got, and we're going to take it. Put the belts up and they're gone." -Yoel Judah on Zab-Cotto...

I have seen other stuff with this guy, heard him talk in person and he always seemed OK to me, pretty level headed, actually... now with this he comes across as a cross between Floyd Senior and Crocodile (guy used to be with Tyson). I mean, WHAT is he talking about here????? Act, shake, scramble? Brooklyn style? How come before they fight they always talk about they are going to do it Brooklyn Style? Then when they lose they never mention it anymore. They just wait until the next fight hoping everybody forgot. I don't know if Yoel is JUSTtrying to sell the fight (I'll assume he is) or if he really is this way and believes this... because if it is door #2 then someone needs to tell him that the average American fan is TIRED of all this nonsensical, ridicuous trashtalk, ESPECIALLY when you did the same exact thing before you lost to Kostya, Baldomir and Floyd!!

Hes making a point because of the fact that Cotto has a huge nuyorican following where he is at, and hes letting everyone know that in brooklyn thats his territory, and to them MSG is their territory, hes letting everyone know they dont give a **** what the odds are and who they are supposed to be fighting.

Basically thats not trash talk, im pretty sure he means that ****, seeing as how he is straight from one of the roughest projects in new york, alot of people take pride in surviving places like that, so i dont think hes talking trash, i think hes being real as ****. Weather you like how he says it or not is your opinion, but he also said the same thing before he went into Spinks' hometown and took the undisputed WW Championship.

Yeah I give Zab a lot of credit, I ALWAYS DID, for going to St. Louis and beating Spinks like that. He even took less money for the chance and he made the most of it, yes he did. BUT let me tell you something... coming from a tough neighborhood means ZERO, NADA, ZILCH in boxing. Coming from Brooklyn didn't stop Zab from getting pole-axed by Kostya. If Zab was unbeaten at this point and had wiped all these guys out you might be able to get away with all that but losing to Baldomir when Baldomir was a HUGE underdog....losing to Floyd after 100 times worse trash talk, etc.. etc... doesn't point to being from BK making him any tougher etc etc than anybody else. I mean, they always talk about Brooklyn Style but guess what??? Daniel came from Brooklyn, same household apparently, and it didnt make him an elite level fighter. Good fighter, sure he was, but its not like repping Brooklyn stopped either of them from losing to guys who hailed from areas of the country and the world that were considered, let's say, "not as tough." All that Brooklyn style is NONSENSE and I don't care who says otherwise.

cong**** to zab judahs father for raising his sons in the baddest ****** in the world! thats really something to be proud of. i too would love to have had my Dad raise me among liars, theives, rapists, drive by shooters, killers, drug dealers, **********s and desitute people doing drugs with welfare monies. thanks dad!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for bringing me here!! and if that makes his son da baddest cat in the da land then that is really great but the guy from russia made his legs do the Chicken dance, zab has been robbed twice at gunpoint now and pretty boy forced him to retreat, back up and hit low to save himself. the guy from argentina came to the garden and wobbled zab jjudah good with a couple a shots. so what his father says here doesnt actually jive and jel with what really happens when the guy fights. judahs dad may be the greatest guy in the world now and Maybe when he came up he didnt have the means in which to bring his kids out of the baddest ****** there is, it happens, i know. but dont sit there and try to convince us that you being from brooklyn brownsville in new york is such a great thing. you act like you coem up there and you are invinicble as the ressult of it but seeing zab fite that dont really seem to be the cae now does it

Scully, If it's all nonsense, then why do you bother bringing it up?? Personally, It doesn't bother me. There's trash talkers that I like, then there's trash talkers like Judah, who have no originality at all. It really is a form of entertainment, toilet type entertainment.

Seems to me that you're taking it too seriously and literally at everything the Judah's of the world say.
