If Hatton loses to Castillo, he will lose his status as a Ring Magazine top ten p4p boxer and light welterweight champion. If he cannot beat Castillo, you will never again read me post that he can beat Mayweather, unless Hatton bounces back with several impressive wins.

But I hope if he does defeat Castillo, his critics will be good sports and give him credit for defeating an extremely difficult opponent, instead of saying Castillo was washed up. He actually may lose to Castillo, who punches very hard (he has 47 KOs on his record!) and has top level boxing skills, but I'm betting on Ricky to prevail.

ricky will not get any credit on this board even if he does win, the hate for him on boxingscene is ridiculous.

There isn't even a real debate. One point of view is "Hatton would most likely lose to Mayweather but he does have the tools to beat him if the circumstances are right" and the other is "LMAOI FLOYD BEAT HIM BLAH BLAH GATTI BLAH BLAH P4P BLAH BLAH ".

Its not hate, some of us just wouldnt pick him over mayweather, come on dude, he lied, we have the quotes on boxingscene, he said he was gonna fight witter and then he said otherwise, he said mayweather ducked him then he admitted he priced himself out, he said he was gonna give collzao a rematch then fought urango.

When did he say he would fight Witter? The point on Collazo is redundant given that Ricky moved back down to light welter after beating Collazo.
