    Abraham vs. Pavlik: Who Wins?

The middleweight division is heating up, with recent excellent performances by Kelly Pavlik and Arthur Abraham. To me, these two are clearly the best in their division. Taylor will probably try to evade a fight with Pavlik, and I think Pavlik may replace Miranda as the #1 contender for the IBF title. So this fight may happen!

So if these two clash, who wins?

in germany pavlik would have to win by tko. which on paper i think he could do.in other venues he would win by a fair decision.

Well since Miranda easily outfought Abraham (only losing because of his own doing, NOT being screwed) and Pavlik absolutely wrecked Miranda... yeah. Abraham obviously has a tough chin though, even when broken apparently. Pavlik by UD.

Pavlik I feel would win by KO in the late rounds. Abraham would get his shots in and do some work, but Pavlik's constant pressure and accurate power shots would catch Abraham and put him down in the 10th round or beyond. It would be great for them to fight especially if Pavlik doesn't get his chance at Taylor.

as abraham is the type that works in "sprints", a quick combo and then back behind his guard, i find it difficult for him to succeed agaisnt pavlik.. pavlik is a volume puncher, who i think would outwork abraham, it would not be enough for abraham to throw the occational combination.. pavlik would keep the pressure on abraham as he did with miranda, miranda was rather succesful when pressuring abraham back, i suspect that pavlik would be even more succesfull in doing so..

abraham is off course a very rounded boxer, powerfull and with good defence, but it would be needed that he can keep the high pace, that left miranda breathless, against pavlik.. i personally dont think abraham can pull it off

Pavlik by decision based on styles. Pavlik throws too many punches, they are just too many. Abraham's got great defense and chin but he won't be able to fight in spurts until late into the fight. But what do I know, let them fight.
