Yeah he did, a few times, but the main similarity is the sidestepping and working the angles, throwing the hooks and throwing a lot of punches.

This guy looks good. Ive never seen him fight before. Boxrec says hes fighting Berrett in his next fight.

We'll know a lot more about Povetkin after he fights Barrett. I think he's the real deal, but if he struggles against Barrett he's never going to dominate the division. If he handles Barrett easily, then he's ready to fight contenders and is only another fight or two away from a title shot. His small number of professional fights is deceiving - he fought in top level world amateur tournaments for a long time, so he's had lots of experience.
