Floyd Mayweather would be crap at MMA, but he's the best boxer in the world. Strikers won't do anything in MMA unless they are reasonably big punchers, which is why Cintron would do so much more than Mayweather.

hahah ya that contender coach with the judo background i still remember the story of him judo tossing lennox lewis during sparring.

plus floyd jr watches ufc thats why when he said he would put a good heavyweight against chuck, chuck would lose he didnt say randy couture cause he knows couture would take it to the ground...he said chuck cause chucks arms are wide open and he only strikes and rampage has decent boxing and he was able to knock chuck out.

chuck is over rated in my opinion i kept saying it he beats guys who didnt have great stand up or were nervous to fight him kinda like when tyson was in his prime.

right now i think anderson silva has the complete stand up yes mirko has a devastating high kick but anderson got the knees, the boxing he is just so fluid in that ring the way he moves.

right,....hes a boxer. He was a cruiserweight for a long time, and the last i remember him, he got ktfo by Sam Peter. Whats your point.

I dont give a **** how good boxers could do in mma. stay in boxing, where theres more exciting and better fights to be made.

besdies, everyone loses in mma. theres no such thing as a dominate fighter. The only top one mma has left is Fedor, who almost got submitted by Mark Hunt of all people, and technically could have been stopped by Lindland because of the condition of that gash that opened up in the first seconds of the fight.

I've been saying this forever here. Any LEGIT MMA gym/fighter has a boxing trainer. The real deal MMA guys do not disrespect boxing, they actually train it. Now some fighters may have issues with certain boxers, but they respect the sport itself.
