I dont care for either guy as announcers, but i love them both as a trainer/ fighter and personalities.
Lennox is just terrible. States the obvious, rambles on, yadda yadda yadda
But Steward is so much worse if you ask me. Sometime he is fantastic.
but sometimes he is SO ANNOYING. Like i forget which fight (I THINK it was GATTI-WARD) someone lands a nice right hand, and STEWARD goes, "BIG RIGHT HAND...BIG RIGHT HAND... BIG RIGHT HAND... BIG R- And i think it hurt him too."
ARG, i just wanted to punch him throught the screen. We heard him the first time, and he was just diliberately talking over JIM LAMPLEY, And you could hear Lampley in the backround saying some great lines, but it was RUINED by steward.
And then when JIROV went down when he fought TONEY, STEWARD was yelling JIBBERISH, and agian wouldnt let LAMPLEY get a word in edgewise. The only audible word was, "DOWN!"
I just HATE steward as a commentator. I dont really like any of the 3rd guys anymore, and there dont serve a purpose anymore. Keep them for BAD, but get KELLERMAN and MERCHANT and LAMPLEY in for WCB
