Joe Rogan "Boxing is being swallowed"

Anybody catch the comments this motha****a made, now i respect the dude but damn he tryed to play are sport out badly yesterday and like the dumbasses ESPN is rather then getting some1 who can actually back are sport up and fire shots back they got Lou Dibella ass and he basically sat there said a few things and for the most part looked like a ***** compared to Rogan!

Joe also said something along the lines of Boxing stars of today are the only stars where gonna have down the line, ex: De la Hoya Hopkins and those type of guys... what he doesnt understand is that boxing is an olympic sport and has been around for centuries and it aint goin no where, as for the UFC last time i checked da ****s been around for almost 20+ years and its not startin to bloom til now thats something people seem to forget also theres only a select few guys in the UFC who get mainstream exposure, **** if Chuck Liddell doesnt win tonight its only gonna bring them down rather then pick um up , i mean **** i like UFC its da **** but id watch boxing over it anyday

BUT>>>>>>>>>> then again UFC 71 39.95 a boxing match 45-55.95 they defintly got us beat there! thats another thing if boxing competed with UFC PPV prices then the revenu for boxing would be alot higher, somehting like 220 to 177 in favor of UFC

Why do you respect a *** like Joe Rogan. All he ever tries to do is gain publicity. He's a ****ing loser

I understand some of what Joe is saying, but didn't really respect his argument. He said he is a boxing fan, but then has nothing good to say about the sport and then says Boxing is being swallowed. If he knew boxing he would know there are some young fighters that could become stars and there is still a lot of talent to make boxing go good for years.

Im a fan of both boxing and UFC, they both have their pluses and their downfalls. Both boxing and UFC take brains, braun and speed to win. Boxing seems to be rigged sometimes with some of the outcomes Ive seen due to letting old ass blind judges call it. When UFC fights come to a decision Ive never really seen bad calls. and on the other hand UFC can get really, REALLY boring when you get two guys that are good at the ground submission game. Watching two dudes hug each other on the ground is boring. Boxing is uaually always exciting, unless of course you put Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya in a ring together. I dont agree with everything that Rogan said but I do got to agree that after the DLH-Mayweather fight that boxing is losing respect and making everyone not want to watch it. UFC is hotter than ever right now, and Liddell is not the cash cow, the majority of MMA fans love guys like Matt Hughes, Rich Franklin, and Randy Cotoure more than has beens like Liddell and Ortiz. They both are great and I love them both, but if boxing doesnt do something quick its gonna be harder to watch than golf.

PS: Quentin Jackson is gonna beat the tar out of Liddell tonight.

Yeah they're not being showcased properly. Why? If you want boxing to be popular in years to come, wouldn't you want to promote new talent as much as possible with established talent?

And I don't know about you, but I find critical fans more refreshing then those who blindly follow. If it takes a sound thrashing from it's fans to make it change, so be it.

Hell, if it weren't for critical fans, MMA wouldn't have been around.

Are we talking striking, grappling or all around work? We come in three flavors.

There are so many times you can sell a fight just with hype.

After a while, it's going to bite you in the ass.
