    Even Pavlik Admitted It!

There were so many people on here saying that Taylor is a punk for what he said in his post fight interview. I was like the only one on here defending him and saying that people were twisting his words. I also said that Merchant was an ass for trying to paint him into a corner and making him fight Taylor. Taylor isnt a punk. Merchant and alot of you were acting like he was scared of Pavlik and wanted to fight another bum instead. No, he was just saying that there were 2 other big fights out there with Calzaghe & Winky and he will take the fight that pays him the most money. I said that its something that every boxer would do but they just wont admit it and Im glad that Taylor did. How can you say a man is scared when he's willing to fight higher rated guys in those other 2 opponents? I said that if he couldnt make those fights then he would easily fight Pavlik without any problem. Now it seems as though he's leaning that way because he doesnt like the money Calzaghe is offering.

For some reason, Merchant and most of you ripped him for that. Then tonight on FNF, Pavlik admitted that he wouldnt turn down that money to fight Calzaghe. Now how dumb do you guys look. You cant knock a guy for that. Infact, people rip Taylor for what he said but if you watched Merchant interview Pavlik, he wasnt that forward his ownself. He didnt demand a Taylor fight or act like he even wanted it that bad. Again, how can you call a guy scared who just fought Hopkins & Winky in 3 straight fights? It makes no sense. Then he fights 2 smaller guys and people rip him for that. He deserves a easier fight after those 3 he just had. I thought he was crazy for fighting Winky after those 2 fights. No one in history has done that. Come on now, do you really believe that Taylor is scared of Pavlik, is ducking Pavlik, or doesnt believe that he can beat him? Taylor's scared of Pavlik but fought Hopkins, he's scared but he fought Winky, he's scared but he's talking about fighting Calzaghe? Come on now. Im glad that Pavlik admitted that tonight. Again, you can rip Taylor all you want for his fighting skills. I have no problem at all with that but you cant ever call him a coward. He'll fight anyone.

The funniest thing about it is that Taylor should fear Calzaghe so much more then Pavlik. Anyone could see that a Calzaghe matchup would be hell for Taylor. He's like Spinks except he's naturally bigger and can do just about everything better then Spinks. Atleast Pavlik would be right there for him to hit. I bet anything that while a ton of people on here were saying that Taylor is scared or ducking Pavlik, his team actually maybe had switched from Calzahge to Pavlik after watching the Miranda fight. It made Pavlik into a star and it seemed like his style is much easier for Taylor. Even funnier, I bet that some of the same people who ripped Taylor for this will soon do a complete 180 and ask how can he turn down all that money from Calzaghe and that he is ducking him to fight the easier guy in Pavlik

I was surprised that he said it so blatantly because he's just a humble guy. But when I rewatched it it wasn't as bad as I thought it was when I first heard it.

Don't you see dumb****? His whole attitude changed. He walks in with this ****** posse he has now, now he's ALL about the money (he's ****ing made **** loads in his short career) when he was always talking before about being one of the greatest fighters ever. If this guy actually won his fights I wouldn't really care but the only dude in his past 5 he actually beat was Ouma, who was tiny. He talks about Spinks running the whole time and how he 'didn't take the belt away from the champ'...well wat did that dumbass do against hopkins fighting like a scared kitten?

I used to love JT even though his skills ****** but now I think he's a coddled fighter who will get gifts for the rest of his career because he's a moneymaker. **** him.

JT, should try to dodge both Pavlik/Calzaghe. So, we can see the true ***** he really is.

I reluctantly agree with what you say here.....but I have to keep it real.I do believe tho that he should fight Winky again down the road and he really should give some top actual MWs a chance at the titles......or vacate and move up....it's only fair to the other guys out there putting it all on the line risking their #1 rankings against each other.....while the "Champ" is fighting LMWs on the headline.Taylor needs to take a very tough fight next to redeem himself.....and if he wins big or wins at all he may earn his respect back pretty rapidly.

Agreed. In my eyes, Pavlik is the man to beat in the Middle weight division. If there is a fight between Pavlik and Taylor, Pavlik should be getting the lions share.

Frankly, Im not interested in seeing Taylor fight any more. I wouldn't be disapointed if I never saw another Taylor fight in my life. Pavlik is the fight. Calzaghe is the fight. Jermaine Taylor is not the fight. In either a Pavlik-Taylor fight, or Calzaghe-Taylor fight, people will be paying to watch either Pavlik, or Calzaghe. People wont be paying to watch Taylor.

Id be suprised if Taylor was the betting favorite in either of those match ups too.

Yeah I want to see the Winky rematch. But Taylor doesn't deliver when he wins impressively and decisively I'll take it easy on him.

You mean at Middle not super....and after seeing how Spinks fared I think Floyd would have a good shot at beating him.
