I like the 5pm fights, am I alone in that? It's early but the fight's over before you make dinner and youi have the night free, whereas 10pm you kind of have to plan your Saturday around the fight.
It works out for us to I think.
Yes, Saturday afternoon fights fit into my weekends better.
Wlad's had a lot of fights in the US, for example the Brock, Peter, Williamson, and Mercer fights. The first fight with Brewster was in the US.
Wlad is a household name in Germany, but not in the US. The arenas are sure to sell out in Germany, boxing is more popular there than in the US.
you said it man! I was stationed in Hanau, Germany for 27 months....and if you show a picture (face only) of Wlad, people knew who he was. Try that here, and 70% of folks won't even know WTF is that! Some may even mix up which one of the klishko brother's, but they are well known. One thing you gotta consider is that the Heavy Weight Championship has changed hands so many times, that it's not the same as one person that reigns supreme.
Your right JD, but I'll take it a step further. Germany is becoming the "Las Vegas" of Europe in that, alot of big fights happen there, money is being made, and boxing seems to be gaining more popularity there than in the U.S.
I agree. Germany seems to be a hot area for boxing.
